Vung Tau, also known as Cap Saint Jacque in French, is approximately 125 kilometers southeast of Ho Chi Minh City. The name "Vung Tau" literally means "anchorage," as during the 14th and 15th centuries, Vung Tau was a swamp that European trading ships visited regularly.
With 15 kilometers of coastline, Vung Tau is endowed with many sandy beaches, including Bai Truoc (Front Beach), Bai Sau (Back Beach), and Bai Dua (Dua Beach). Vung Tau also has many famous sightseeing spots, such as the Great Jesus Christ Statue, the White Palace, Thang Tam temple, where local people worship the God of the Sea, beach & lunch.
You will be driven to Vung Tau after picking up from Phu My Port to visit Thich Ca Phat Dai Pogoda as first stop. This is a largest Pogoda in Vung Tau City. After that, you will be transferred to Christ
