Stop: 3 hours
Our next destination is the picturesque banks of the Red River, where we can witness the stunning beauty of Vietnam's countryside and observe farmers cultivating their lands. We'll make a stop at a local family who specialize in creating intricate bonsai plants. Our knowledgeable guide will assist us with translation, allowing us to engage in conversation with the family and learn more about local daily life and traditions.
We'll take a break at the scenic Lotus Lake, where we can quench our thirst with refreshing sugarcane juice or other local fresh drinks.
Continuing on, we'll cycle through dirt roads and rural villages until we reach the ancient Co Loa Citadel. This citadel, built in 200 BC, is a symbol of Vietnam's tradition of establishing and defending the country against foreign invaders, specifically Thuc Phan An Duong Vuong.
After that, we'll head to a local restaurant to enjoy the delicious cuisine that Hanoi has to offer.Read moreMore about Dong Ahn
