What you'll do

Enjoy a change of scenery away from the honking cars and crowded footpaths of Hanoi on this day trip to Yen Tu Mountain in northern Vietnam. Explore a Buddhist haven, a mountain range lined with sacred relics, shrines, and pagodas. Take a cable car ride to Hoa Yen Pagoda, then climb the rest of the way to Dong Pagoda, the tower at the top of Yen Tu. Bring your camera to take advantage of the extraordinary views of Yen Tu’s ancient forests and Quang Ninh province sprawling out beneath you.
