Join us for a day tour of the Mekong Delta, featuring a visit to a floating market and the infamous Chu Chi Tunnels.

What you'll do

We set off at 5:00 am from Ho Chi Minh City for a 3-hour drive to the Mekong Delta. As we leave the city behind, the scenery changes to views of rice paddies, beautiful orchards by the side of the road, and other scenes typical of southern Vietnam.

At 8:00 am, we arrive in Can Tho city, the capital of the Southwest. We start the day with a visit to the Cai Rang Floating Market. As we cross the Mekong River, we observe the daily activities of local people on the banks, see traditional-style houses in which local people live, and beautiful orchards.

We try to enjoy breakfast at the floating market, drink a special coffee or soft drink, and pineapple on the boat.

At 10:00 am, we disembark before exploring Son Islet, an islet in the middle of the Hau River, which is separated not far away from the mainland with alluvial consolidating

After that, our tour guide takes you to some traditional workshops. You have a great time learning how locals make “Hu Tieu” (rice vermicelli). They are soft, flat, slippery and slightly chewy.
