Join us for a half-day tour from Hue to the Vietnam DMZ, including a visit to the Vinh Moc Tunnels.

What you'll do

The Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) in Vietnam was established as a dividing line between North and South Vietnam after the First Indochina War. During the Vietnam War, the DMZ became a crucial battleground, separating North from South Vietnamese territories.

7:00- 7:30am Our tour guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel. We will head to the Vinh Moc Tunnels, where you can learn about the underground village constructed to avoid bombardments during the American War.

12:00 We will return to Dong Ha town for lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, we will head back to your hotel.

Vinh Moc Tunnel – village undergound: Is a tunnel complex in Quang Tri, Vietnam. During the Vietnam War it was strategically located on the border of North Vietnam and South Vietnam. The tunnels were built to shelter people from the intense bombing of Son Trung and Son Ha communes in Vinh Linh county of Quang Tri Province in the Vietnamese Demilitarized Zone. It was constructed in several stages beginning in 1966 and used until early 1972.
