What you'll do

Ipoh is the capital city of the Malaysian state of Perak. Located by the Kinta River, it is approximately 180 km north of Kuala Lumpur, about a 2-hour drive from Kuala Lumpur. Although it is quite far to travel, it is worthwhile to visit as it has many attractions.

Gua Tempurung cave, which is the longest cave in Peninsular Malaysia, is an amazing rock formation. You will also have a chance to visit the 19th-century castle built by a Scottish planter as a gift for his wife, Kellie's Castle. Visit the beautiful Kek Lok Thong Cave Temple & Zen Gardens.
